Patience is a virtue!

One often hears the phrase "patience is a virtue". At some point you know its true but doesn't really apply to you right now, you are plenty content.

And then comes pregnancy! These last couple weeks are tough while you wait for your little one to join your family! HOWEVER, patience truly is a virtue!

Today my boss told me to take the day off (I have been exhausted all week) and I am spending the whole day with my wonderful husband! We've done the normal things...sleep in, eat breakfast, go to the grocery store (got in some good walking!) and are planning on going to see a movie.

As much as I want our little one to come I am going to miss these times that are "just the two of us". Without patience I would have never known what I was missing, it truly is a virture! : )

NOW we're ready...

Our son's bedding came today...its the little things that keep us excited!

More preparation for our son..

Today 3 of my dearest friends got all the gals together for a baby shower! I cannot even express how overwhelmed I was at seeing everyone there and their amazing generosity toward our family! LADIES YOU ARE A BLESSING!!!! Its amazing...Keller is a very lucky little guy to have such wonderful people in his life!

Also, if you would like to have a great time...put together baby furniture with a friend! Not only will you accomplish something, you will laugh harder then ever before! Thanks M for all your help, I definitely couldn't have done it without you!

On a Journey...

In September of 2005 we took the plunge and got married! We got an apartment and started school and work. 10 months later we were blessed with the news we were adding an addition to our family, we are about to be 3!

We love what we do, who we know and where we are! Most days we couldn't ask for more. We also know that we are not perfect and need grace. Its an amazing journey every day that we wake up!

We hope to share some of that journey with you, our family and friends! The good, the bad and the hilarious!
