One Month...

It's been one month since Keller joined us! We can't believe it has already been a month and that he has grown so much!

Aunt Laura

My sister Laura stopped by on her way to Arizona. We ate at the Amtrak station and took some pictures with Keller. It was so funny because Keller kept making really funny faces but wouldn't just relax for that "perfect photo"... Enjoy!

"Look at me sticking out my tongue."
"Ooo...what's over there?"

"Aunt Laura, You are squishing me"

"See, I cry when you squish me"

"Fine, I'll sit still but I won't look at you"

The Time Has Come...

The time has come for Mom to return to work. Keller will be 5 weeks old on my first day back full time. I will miss him so much but I know that he and Dad will have a great time at home together! They have had two practice runs by themselves and both were full of smiles when I returned home! I hope they take lots of pictures while I am gone during the day!

The Joy of Friends...

If there is anything about parenthood that is especially scary it is the thought of not having time with the friends that you have held dear for the last several years! Thankfully for us we have friends that are AMAZING and we have so much fun with them!

3 Weeks Old...

Today Keller is three weeks old. I can't believe it! Time has already flown by. We are still so thankful and blessed everyday by his cute faces and fun sounds!

Yep, I know I'm cute!

It's almost a grin!

Baby Dedication...

As parents we choose to dedicate Keller. By dedicate we mean that we as parents are turning over Keller as our son to the way of God. We presented our family to the church, agreed to encourage and raise Keller in God's path and asked that the congregation help us in our walk. We also have dear friends who have agreed to pray for Keller and for us during the next year. We are so thankful to have them!

We were also thankful to share this experience with both sets of our parents. We appreciate them taking a day to be with us, especially this day!

If there is one thing that makes everyday easier it is the wonderful friends that we have. We are so blessed that they have taken the time to come visit, bring meals and encourage us. We could not have survived these first couple weeks of parenthood without them!!

Family...

There are not too many times when family gets together, but graduations are one of them. We are far from the days of living in the same town as our entire extended family but I have to say that our family seems to get together well and really enjoy the time! And here they are...

Graduation...

Graduation is another HUGE transition in life. This time it was our youngest sister Amanda. As we listened to 455 names being called we were very proud of her as she graduated with honors! Go Amanda, enjoy the next stop on your journey!

After graduation we had a small party and Keller go to meet his cousins, pictured below!

Time Flies...

"But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart." Today was Mom and Keller's first day at home without Dad.

It was a beautiful day, we enjoyed the windows being open and the soft breeze. I just can't believe that Steve is back in school and it's just the two of us. Every so often when Keller and I are sitting in the rocking chair I can't believe that these moments won't last forever. He is so precious. What a wonderful gift.
