Learning the lay of the land...

We are still taking it day by day here! It is so nice to have maternity leave and have Steve home for so many hours. We are blessed that his school schedule allows for so much time with us. It would not be the same without him around to help! Sometimes we are not sure about the timing of things but in times like these we are reassured that all things happen in God's time.

Still waiting...there's a lesson here!

For all those that are asking, yes, we are still waiting for the arrival of our son. He is happy and healthy and just not ready to join us here in the "outside world" yet! We're glad he's doing so well, but we sure are ready to meet him.

I guess it goes back to what someone once said to me "Every situation is perfect, how is this perfect?" Honestly, I am not sure yet. We don't know why we are waiting. However, our cousin S in in labor right now and our mom is there with her. Since our mom can't be in two places at once perhaps waiting another day or two isn't a bad idea! Perhaps that's our lesson.

If you are waiting for something or feel like the situation you are in is not ideal just think, "Every situation is perfect, how is this perfect?"
